The restaurant’s specialty lies in seafood, with standout dishes like the blackened swordfish, perfectly cooked scallops served over succotash, and shrimp with grits. Perched at the summit, 5,506′ offers panoramic snowy views, a full-service bar, and delicious food from Claudia y Los 4 Mariachis. Surprisingly, one of the most welcome items on the menu is a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with Alabama white sauce ($15). But the centerpiece of the restaurant remains its outdoor space, replete with pergolas, family-style tables and a green tiled bar that sits under twinkle lights. With good food and beautiful surroundings, we aim to give all guests the perfect dining experience.

The service was great and we will be returning All four of us elected a different choice for the meal and they were all excellent. We had the chicken parm and the fettuccine alfredo..finished up with the spumoni. Charming, delicious food, good vibes.

With a full bar, food by Claudia’s, and panoramic snowy views, 5,506′ is the perfect place to relax and soak in the crisp mountain air. The friends that had recommended had dined shortly after the restaurant had opened and said the food was great but the service was horrible (slow and the wait staff wasn’t with it) but being a new restaurant, maybe they were just figuring things out. Whether it’s a bustling night or a quieter off-season visit, BEECH offers a memorable dining experience. Ribs ($14), for example, are coated in sticky plum sauce — not falling from the bone (as everything here maintains some decorum) but still an advertisement for casual dining in a sprawl of opulent real estate.
